Tip of the Week: Internet campaigns
When you're searching for donations and sending letters to potential sponsors for your educational tour, don’t forget the power of the Internet!
Emails and updates to family and friends about your tour can be powerful fundraising tools. Sending your message electronically— either through emails or on social-networking sites such as Facebook—allows you to reach beyond your network and encourage others to forward your message to more potential donors.
Ultimately, the goal is for your message to wind up in the hands of people who identify with the importance of educational travel. Fundraising isn’t just about raising money but about inspiring someone with your group’s story and the impact your educational tour will have on your students.
